Healthy Habits: Season 2 Premiere

Mark Highlove & Alexa Rohn get together to whip up a yummy Cacao Bliss Elixir for a brand new season of Healthy Habits.

Watch and learn how to impress your friends at your next tea party with this simple recipe tutorial, plus a mess of other fun herb facts & amusement.

What’s up with the fat?

As discussed in the video, some of the active compounds in the herbs in Cacao Bliss are fat-soluble, while others are water soluble.

The fat ensures you get the most out of your herbal extraction!

Quick & easy recipes!

Winter Warming Tea

A simple blend of ginger, lemon juice, cloves, black pepper & turmeric–herbs commonly found at your local market. Still delicious without turmeric if you can’t find it!

Simmer all 5 ingredients in a few cups of water for 10-20 minutes for a nurturing, warming tea with a delightful spicy note.

Ginger is warming while turmeric is fabulous for your joints & inflammation. Black pepper is key since it makes the compounds in turmeric more bioavailable.

High vitamin C in the lemon is perfect to keep winter colds at bay.
Cloves (an aphrodisiac), ginger & black pepper are all digestive aids. A winning & warming blend!

Bulletproof, not just for coffee.

Simmer Cacao Bliss in water and blend it with the fat of your choice for a tasty, adaptogenic morning treat. Perfect if you don’t drink coffee, or if you just ran out…

If you prefer a high-octane treat, blend coffee, Cacao Bliss and your favorite fat for an herbal supercharge!

In a Rush? Shake it up!

This is our go-to for busy mornings & superfood fixes on the go.

Shake 1 TBS of Cacao Bliss in 1 cup of milk (almond milk shown here). Shake like crazy & enjoy!

This method is great in your fave protein shaker or jar. You can also add protein powder for a nurturing herbal protein fix!

Loving our haters: Trolls of the day!

We were thrilled the re-release of our founder, Mark Highlove’s appearance on Munchies got so much reach and equally amused by some of the comments we saw.

We couldn’t resist sharing a few that gave us the biggest LOLs!

Savage burn.
Mark is one of the most analog people we know and can barely operate his email inbox some days….but hey, maybe if we teach him to code he will have a chance.

We have been to Burning Man, this guy might have missed that you can’t actually sell anything at Burning Man…kind of goes against the code (wouldn’t want to get kicked out of the cuddle puddles! ha.)  Only on the internet can you troll with all your might and still fail this hard.
If anyone wants to leave a trust fund to Highlove Vitality we would be more than happy to invest it in more healing herbs.
No takers just yet but we apparently have the “look” down.

High fives for superfoods!
